End User License Agreement.

Last updated August 15, 2026. This EULA covers your use of the Roots application. It works alongside our Terms of Service; if the two ever conflict about the app itself, this EULA controls.

Your license

Roots Stay In Touch LLC grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Roots app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and any app-store rules.

What you can’t do

Don’t copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content

By using Roots you agree that there is no tolerance for objectionable, abusive, or unlawful content or behavior. You can report content and block other users directly inside the app. We review valid reports and aim to remove violating content and remove or suspend the responsible accounts within 24 hours. Uploading such content, or abusing others, may end your access immediately.

Apple App Store

If you downloaded Roots from the Apple App Store, this EULA is between you and Roots Stay In Touch LLC only — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or handle claims relating to the app, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo or on a U.S. prohibited-parties list.

No warranty; termination

The app is provided “as is,” to the extent the law allows. This license lasts until ended by you or by us; it ends automatically if you break its terms. On termination, stop using the app and delete it.
