What we collect

Only what’s needed to make Roots work — the photos and memories you choose to bring in, who’s in your household, and which people you’ve connected to.

Who sees your memories

Only the people you explicitly share with. Not other Roots users. Not advertisers. Not us, except where strictly necessary to operate the service.

What we don’t do

No ads. No data brokers. No third-party analytics. No selling anything to anyone.

Where your data lives

Encrypted at rest, served from infrastructure we trust and audit. You can delete your account and your data on request.
